アレサ・フランクリン、1970年代前半に発売された5枚のオリジナルアルバムに、いずれも初ボーナストラックを複数曲ずつ収録されたボックスセットが2023年12月1日リリース。同時に、6枚組LPボックスもリリースされますが、5枚のLPにはボートラは収録せず、6枚目のボーナスLPには11曲を収録。ただ、悲しいことに、今回のLPには1974年11月 With Everything I Feel In Me は含まず、初CD化はかなわず。また、ボートラは計28も含んでるものの、いずれもアルバム未収録のシングル、2007年 Rare & Unreleased Recordings from the Golden Reign of the Queen of Soul, 2021年Aretha (4CD) 収録音源からなので、なんか真新しさはだいぶゲンナリ。ただ、当時のアルバムレコーディング時の曲をデラックス盤的に聞けることを考えれば興味深いですが、恐らくデジタル配信もされると思うので、買うのはよっぽどのファンかもしれません。現状アマゾンで11000円超だったりしますが、自分はヤフーショッピングが9500円くらいと最安値だったのでそちらで購入することにしております。

11曲・40分程、いずれも2021年にLP化されている曲も多いので、寄せ集めコンバイル感じです。ただ今回のBOX の売りにはなっているようですが、LPだと3万超えてくるので…超マニア向けでしょうかね。

54曲・ボートラ26曲の計80曲（以前Xでボートラ28曲とご記載してました）、215分、ボートラ102分の計317分、実に5時間以上の収録となってました。ちょっと初出し音源などは一切なさそうですが、ブックレット含め貴重な何かがあればいいなぁと微かな望み。やっぱ1970年代後半の音源を一挙出しまくってほしいなぁと願うばかりですが。
